Lesson 10 - Sharing Your Digital Photographs With Others

The photo-editor you use is likely to offer several ways to share your digital photographs. The most common method, of course, is printing. Other methods of sharing include using email to send electronic versions of your photos to family, friends and associates or copying pictures to CD, either as a photo album or as a slide show, complete with titles, music and narration.

Some editors help you prepare photos for placement on the web, either on your own web site or on commercial photo sharing sites.

We'll concentrate on printing in this lesson.

The responsibility for successfully printing a digital image is shared between your computer monitor, your editing software, your computer's operating system (Windows XP) and the software supplied with your printer (called a 'printer driver').
